P.S Rothbury (Jackson)

We’re stopping in Mildura for a couple of nights and one of the things we did on the day in between was going on the P.S.(Paddle Steamer)Rothbury, just me, Nick and Ryan. This is about the things we did. The paddle steamer went up and down the Murray and went through a loch that had gates that were slow! When we went back through the loch it was cool to see the water rising. The captain of the paddle steamer was nice and sort of let us steer (he steered and we put our hands on the wheel) When we finished he gave us a certificate that said we could successfully drive the boat. It had a good kiosk and my highlight was the loch. Paddle steamers were the main form of transport on the river until they were replaced by trains.
