Blessing

The past few days have been a series of "lasts". Last day at school; last meetings & meals with various friends & family; Ryan's last footy game for the season (a win). And yesterday was the last time we'll be with our small, diverse and welcoming church community until October. At the end of the service we received the gift of a blessing written by our much-loved minister, Di.

"May the roads you travel
     - carry you safely
May the country you visit
     - rest, sustain, welcome and inspire you
May the people you meet
     - share in storytelling and deep listening with you
May the places you explore
     - take your breath away through their wonder and history
May the places you camp
     - free you to be still and at peace
May the whole adventure
     - nurture and nourish you - mind, body and soul
May the people you leave at home
     - stay well and watch your progress by blog
May you find your way home safely
     - to all of us here who love and treasure you
And all the way may the God of
     awesome creativity, deep hope and sustaining nature
     go with you. Amen."
